The Virtual Irish Pub is currently taking expressions of interest for volunteers wanting to contribute code to the site. Many of you have contributed ideas and suggestions of which we are considering most! However there are only a few of us, so we are seeking out users that share our interest and the ability/desire to program for the VIP. We need YOUR help! The 3 Ads we are running here on FB are WORKING! New users are clicking the Ads, and roaming to check out our long beloved Pub. However, without the support of all our regulars, newbies will only be arriving to an empty site. We hear from a lot of you often enough, about how no one likes how dead it is. So please help us make an effort to login to Chat and hang out awhile!
The way we have the Ads set up, allows for 10 clicks per day roughly, that's a total of 30 clicks altogether! If you regulars are there chatting too, then we have extremely good odds of bringing in new users, and therefore bringing our Pub back to LIFE!
Some of you have made donations towards the Ad campaign, and that is wonderful! That makes it possible for us to run the Ads longer, and increase the daily budget! But donations are only half the battle. You can be just as supportive by simply logging in to the VIP, this is the most important thing that our site needs right now.
We are also aware of the way some of you feel about what some have dubbed "Censorship" in the pub. Your thoughts have not fallen on deaf ears! As of today ALL rooms in the Pub will be UNCENSORED! Which means there will be NO:
* Booting
* Silencing
* Banning
* Limbo
* Or otherwise!
So feel free to Login and do or say whatever you please! You wanted it and you got it! So we hope to see you all there!

♥ Heya everyone!
I havn't been in here in like 8 months or so I think ~lol~~ .. but thanks to LBP, here I am checking back in again!
Alot has happened over the last 8 months .. busy would be putting it mildly! I am glad to be back though, and looking forward to some good discussions with all of you :) ..it'll probably take me a bit to get caught up on all I've missed here ..but I'm looking forward to that too!

Hey Everyone!
I hope that all of you are doing well. Having the time to get on here and get things up to date and what not has been a bit back burner-ish the last couple of months. However I wanted to let you all know that I have begun updating all Skins. Having some issues with What Browsers will allow what, so Bare with me .. I could end up changing things to mainly suit FireFox.
I will post more over the next few days and let you all know what's going on with everything and what you can expect. I'd mainly just be happy to have all the skins loading properly ..but ya never know ;)
Those of you waiting on a custom skin, I've not forgotten about you .. and you can expect those to come in the not so distant future too :)

I am about as excited as I can be, so I just had to let all of you know .. I registered my own site Domain tonight! Originally I was going to open an Ebay store, but then I got thinking about it and instead I’ve decided to put my own store on my own site, why pay ebay for something I can accomplish myself right ? :D .. Over the next few weeks I’ll be bustin my wee butt Designing a spiffy Template for the “Grand Opening” of GetStonedCreations ..~grins madly~ .. I’ll be able to list all my Jewellery desings and assorted goodies for sale very soon! So if you’re interested even a little bit, look back at my profile now n then I’ll be listing updates as often as possible! Cheers ;)

Well there sure are a lot of different highly energised discussions happening on Woyano of late. So I have been giving it some thought. Woyano has group options! Kewl huh? You can create a group and invite your friends, you can manage the group discussions and members, as far as I know :) Yet, I’ve not seen anyone start a group yet and I have to wonder why? I think maybe some of these group options would be great for a lot of folks on here, especially folks with particular religious or political views. There are some very heavy topics in these areas and I think it would be great to see!
I’m even thinking about creating a group or two myself :) I could see movie groups and music groups, cooking groups, parenting groups, oi! the possibilities are endless :) I could see Dr.F leading a political group, having regular debates and the like. I could see georgie leading all sorts better health and self groups! I think if I tried hard enough I could probably fit a group to just about anything that one or another of you have posted at some point.
We all have our thing, that certain something we know a lot about, or are very passionate about :) Why not give it a go? Create a group and invite some of your friends to join you! What better a way to have the sorts of discussions you like, with folks that share your views or can relate!

I think we need to slow down and take a look at what Woyano is, what it promotes as much as what WE make of it. Everyone has their own opinion and everyone has their own beliefs regardless if the topic of discussion is politics or beer, religion or pets! I read all the comments on topics such as this, and seriously people I have to say, it is mind boggling! During the span of a couple of days, and a few "controversial" posts, the entire "mood" of Woyano changed. The overall accepting, welcoming and positive feel of the site turned SOUR overnight. Almost every comment on this thread has a bad feeling about it, and really I don’t see the need let alone the reason.
I myself have asked, what’s up with Woyano becoming a political arena? This doesn’t mean that I begrudge anyone the right to talk politics. I am open to any topic anyone wants to discuss, I may agree and I may not, but isn’t that the point? Shouldn’t we feel comfortable posting what we want to discuss here? I don’t think one persons opinions or beliefs stand for more then another persons. I think, or thought, that the idea was putting "ourselves" out there to meet and discuss like topics with people who might share the same interests. But I don’t think that means we have the right to totally shun the people who don’t.
And what’s with everyone wanting something done with the "trouble makers" ? What trouble makers ? Are all of you with comments like this, aware of something that I myself am missing? I havn’t seen any "bad" behaviour out of anyone on Woyano. I have seen some heated discussions, some people getting their nose out of joint over something someone else said or posted. But you can honestly mean to "rid" Woyano of people simply because you don’t agree with them! Or having people banned because they have more then one account? I can agree 100% with JV’s response to that suggestion and I have to wonder how many of you really know what goes into running and maintaining a site like this, DAILY. Sheesh. I have two Woyano accounts, should I be banned? I joined with a second account that allows me the page to properly edit and create new Skins for all of you. Does that mean I’m doing something wrong, and I deserve to be banned? ~L~
Does Woyano need better Mods? Perhaps, it could come to a point of needing the threads moderated. I don’t see where that is an issue at this point though, cause like I said, where are the trouble makers? I havn’t seen anyone being abusive, or nasty. I havn’t seen any content posted that I would dub improper or offensive. There are undoubtably grounds that would make moderating such content necessary, because where there is chat, before long there usually is someone that would or will become abusive, nasty, improper or offensive. Therefore repercussions of some kind are necessary. But only for the right reasons, and I’m sure that the terms for Woyano say as much.
I don’t think that the issue really has anything to do with politics or political beliefs. I think that alot of folks are using politics and or political beliefs as their leg of reason to argue. It’s really easy to see how quickly we all devide over such little things. Little things, some of you may take great offence to that, and I’m prepared for it too. But really, the majority of the political "debate" on Woyano is american made, I see mainly american politics and a very slight touch on some british politics. Ask yourselves this, are we all americans? Are we all British? Or Canadian or otherwise? No, we are not. So really if folks want to discuss politics, go for it! Post away, share your views and opinions! BUT at the same time accept the fact that we are not all in one place, and we don’t all share the same views. You might be a very patriotic american with very devote views on the politics in your country, but that doesn’t mean we all are. Rightly we shouldn’t be attempting to "govern" a web site! This should be a place where we all can feel welcome and comfortable discussing whatever we like! No matter where we are from or what we believe.

Can you tell that I don't have kids ? ~laughs~ These are all of my precious babies
Sinder and Bar are mommy and Daddy to the four pups. We lost Bar last Augest to a tumor on his lung, it was a very sudden devistation and I still miss him very much! He was the most playful, personable little dog I ever saw. His favorite things were sqeeky toys and shopping day. If grocery bags came in the house, he would go crazy with excitment! He demanded his attention, and he got it too hehe. He was 9 years old when he died.
Sinder is a quirky lil mini poodle shihtzu cross, she is a very loyal little dog that just adores tummy rubs, playing catch and men! She has adopted SkeletonMan for her very own. At 8 years old her spunky little antics would put a smile on anyones face :)
Miss Bianca was the first born pup in the first litter. Yes, Miss Bianca from The Rescuers. We chose that name because Sinder was in labour with her for nearly 8 hours! I panicked so bad cause I thought I was gunna lose my lil dog and the pups too. Luckily that didn't happen and with some aid Bianca was born, plump, saucy and sooo sweet! This little angle loves squeaky toys, snow, dinner time and lounging in some ones lap. Very evasive around new people, she will make you work to get close to her .. but once she decides that she loves you, you’ll not get away with not seeing her. She looks for you, worries about you ... and even gets depressed if you’re not around. My brother learned this lesson, and she still give him shit to this day ~L~ As far as this little girl is concerned, people are not allowed to leave home! She is 7.
Tinkerbell was the second born in the first litter, I named her Tink because she was so much littler then Bianca, the size difference between them still amazes me to this day. She is the queen bee of the household, just about as spoiled as an animal can get! That is our fault though ~L~ This little angel is connected at my hip, she insists on being where ever I am, play time to her is simply "Tinky time" which consists of lots of tummy rubs and back scratches. She demands her attention too ~L~ If this lil dog could put her hands on her hips, she probably would ! She is the one that made dinner time the most important meal of the day, to the point that if for any reason we don’t cook, her nose is out of joint for days lol .. Dinner also must be, meat, veggies, gravy, pasta .. something along those lines .. basically if it doesn’t go in a pot or roaster .. it’s not dinner ~L~ She is 7.
Amber is the second born from the second litter, she is a very possessive, hard trusting little dog. She trusts the people in our household, and no one else. I tend to keep her away from visitors etc. for this reason. She doesn’t play with toys, her idea of playing is me riling her up and letting her growl and chew on my arm ~L~ Her favourite things are people food.. and bed time ~L~ She is 6.
Dottie is the third born from the second litter, she is a very quiet passive little girl. The runt of the litter she has her daddy’s features, but she is very very small for a shihtzu.. weighing in at all of 6 lbs. Much like her sister, she is possessive and hard trusting. She and Amber have both claimed my Dad for their own, ever since his heart surgery in 2005 .. these two little dogs are with him at almost all times. Dottie’s favourite thing to do is cuddle on the couch with Papa. She’s very dainty, but when challenged she thinks she’s a pit bull ~L~ She is 6.
I listed all of their separate little nicknames on the picture, and yes they do all answer to each of them too! Now that I’ve introduced all of them, you’re probably wondering how come I kept the pups? What would posess me to have so many little monsters running around? ~L~ The answer to those questions may seem outrageous to you but here it goes ..
Before we got Bar, I had a little pom-cross named Heidi. We lost her quite tragically to a larger dog on a camping trip in the early 90’s. Very shortly after losing her the way we did, we brought Bar home. He was with us a year or so and I brought Sinder home for the purpose of a litter of pups. I had every intention of keeping the pups, so it is no surprise that Bianca and Tinky are as spoilt as they are ~L~ Then through total fault of my own, Bar n Sinder coupled again .. and I got a second litter of pups. There were three in the second litter and I sold one. It goes without saying that losing Bar the way we did crushed me, considering that it was tragic loss that brought him home to us to begin with. I am more then just a little attached see ? ~L~
Herman, well don’t his pictures speak for themselves? ~L~ Truth is I didn’t want a cat, I had a little female for about 13 years .. and when she went I vowed I’d never own another one! Hermy was born to my sisters kitty Moe, and one night at dinner over there this little puffy black and white kitten strayed from the others. He got into the living room all of maybe 3 or 4 feet from the kitchen table, he sat with his back to us and began bawling and bawling. He thought he was alone, and was too scared to move and actually look for someone ~L~ That sold my Dad, and he named him Herman and brought him home. In short order I think this kitty knew I didn’t want another cat ~L~ and he claimed me for his mommy, the rest is history now ! He continued for a long time with that "I’m all alone, save me" thing when he was little. We had battle royal more times then I could count, but now he is a perfect little prince. He is an indoor/outdoor cat, he comes and goes as he pleases. He is very tidy and affectionate .. I have come to prefer male cats to female cats for that reason ~L~ He is a hunter, he likes to bring me home "presents" .. not uncommon at all for mice, moles, birds .. and even bunnies! to turn up on my back deck ~L~

Okay so it was brought to my attention that a few of my skins were not loading the graphics properly. So I went thru and updated everything, it appears all the skins are loading properly now graphics and all. I don't know how many of you actually check them out or try them on, but it would be a huge huge help to me to know if you have, and if there are any problems. So I can rectify the issues and get them sorted straight away.
I never thought of making custom designs before I put that Nascar one together, and now I'm working on another custom design. I kinda like having the suggestions :) It gives me something to start with hehe so if any of you have any ideas, please let me know right here .. just leave me a comment or send me a message :) I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Finally some time to catch up :)
I am simply amazed with how busy life gets when the weather is favourable ! ~laughs~ I have been trying for better then a week to get a skin on my Woyano, and I've finally done it ~grins~ Now that I have accomplished mine .. I'm going to start adding new ones like MAD ! So I hope you are all lookin forward to em hehe
