About Me

"Just a middle-aged techie with the body of an old man, the soul of a child and the mind of a gnat." I am a very outgoing techie. My personality is heavily influenced by my Italian/German heritage and my genetic nature as a computer guru. And I am in a wheelchair most of the time due to a pain disorder similar to Fibromyalgia. I was born in Germany and spent most of my youth growing up there. While I may be a techie (please, don't say "geek"), I am not a total couch potato. I played football and ran track in school and also coached both for some years after. My son and I took Tae Kwon Do until I was unable to continue. I am a very good cook, especially southern Italian cuisine. I love reading Fantasy and Science Fiction; prefer "Classic Rock" but still enjoy just about anything that catches my ear; enjoy F&SF, action and drama movies. I don't watch to much TV, what I do watch is generally children's educational shows and the occasional cartoon. I love children and would really like to have more. Step or biological, doesn't matter. There is much more, too. Drop me a line and I'll be happy to tell you more. If you are looking for something more than an email buddy, please contact me only if you are relatively close to the Washington DC Metro area. I am unable to travel so unless you're going to come here it's not likely we will ever meet. I do not use IM, only email. Thank you.
