About Me
I was born and had a childhood, which I had to share with my brother and sister. I became a teenager and hated my parents, dressed to impress (it usually worked) and perhaps surprisingly, survived that to mature into adulthood. I got married and had the obligatory 2.5 children. Got divorced and now live in the proverbial 'cottage in the country'in Middle England. I like my parents now.

There's good music: Good Rock (even some of the 'erny-erny' music), Folk (but not Morris Dancing), Reggae (& ska), Dance, Trance, House, Garage, Garden Shed, Some Classical, Good Female Vocalists, Ethnicity & Culture Mixes and loads more And there's bad music: Rap (which is a spelling mistake), 'Soul', so-called 'Popular', Boy Band, Opera, Some Classical and loads more
Movies
Lord Of The Rings is the best film(s) that will ever be made. I also enjoyed Stargate, Legend, The Matrix, Whistle Down The Wind, Narnia, Kingdom of Heaven, Pete's Dragon, Harry Potter .... oh, and anything with Arthur Askey in it.
Television
I VERY seldom watch TV. If I do, it's Stargate/Atlantis or a documentary. I'll watch a quiz show if I'm eating alone and I've run out of Logic Puzzles.
Books
I enjoy fantasy (that's Magic Swords & Dragons, not Whips and Moans). I've been known to read the odd biography (that's ODD biography) and yes, I HAVE taken a MySQL/PHP book to bed with me.
Heroes
I respect many people, but worship none. Being worshiped is bad for the soul.

Goals
A long, stress-free, financially secure retirement. Having said that, I'll never retire - too much playing to be done.
