About Me
I may be weird, and childish, and my jokes are lame, I don't care much about most things and the things I do care about I'm not fully aware of, there are things I hate things I like but there isn't a lot if anything that I can say I love. There are things I'd like to do and things I'd like to see happen, if I put it all on a list I figure 5% of it would get done.
I'm Looking For
Anybody who thinks we would get along. With same interests and what not. Makes conersation a little easier.
My Interests
Shooting/editing video, putting puzzles together, walking on stilts, playing video games, reading comics, busting open the heads of evil robot ducks, sleeping, eating pie, and plotting to take over the world (just plotting not executing any of said plots).
Music
I listen to what I like the sound of, having a good bagpipe line doesn't hurt either.
Movies
Spider-man/2/3, X-men/2/3 even though 3 was a bit of a let down, anything based on a comic book basically. I also like the drama type that make you think like Stranger than fiction (I'd put that on my top 10 favorites for sure) other genres I like are, Comedy, scifi, martial arts, animated, some horror but i don't go out of my way to watch them.
Television
cartoons, south park, corner gas, the office, the office (UK), my name is earl, heroes, house, jekyll the list goes on.
Books
I'm not against books really, I just can't bring myself to make time to read any. Most books I read are comics, they are short, with lots of (in many cases amazing) pictures, and I like how that type of story is told.
Heroes
My heroes are my friends who have the power to tolerate me and my weird ways.
Skills
I love to edit! Editing pictures, videos, music. I'll admit I'm not at a professional level yet, I'm still learning and try my hand at new ways of learning. I'm pretty good at linear editing (in school I picked it up faster then anyone else in the class, I even found myself teaching others who didn't get it). I have learned most non-linear editing on Adobe premiere, I'm currently working on getting to know final cut, then it's on to avid. For photos I use photoshop, hoping to learn illustrator very soon as well. As for audio I've only learned to use adobe audition (formally cool edit pro) it's not the most professional program but it's good enough for what I use it for.
Goals
I want to be an editor for a television station, or ad agency. Putting together commercials and adding effects to make them pop.
Ideal job
The Ideal job would have to be working at YTV, by far the greatest television station in the world!
