I have been travelling to China for the past 17 years , about 5 times per year and the changes are stark both from the way the new generation view family and ancestor worship,preferring Prada and flat ownership worship, to the skyline , pollution and incredible number of deaths on the roads. Can you guess how many people each year die on the raods ?.... in excess of 100,000 DEATHS per year.

I think the deaths are really as a result of the Chinese being new to mass cars on the road. many prefer to ride bicycles and play chicken with the cars , whilst the new drivers really do not have the experience needed to drive safely on these increasingly congested roads.
