The recommendations for new secondary schools also include putting toilet blocks close to staffrooms or offices for subtle supervision."
Call me an old sour-face and grumpy-puss, but I tire of today's children constantly whinging about how tough things are for them. I can't imagine how, as a generation, they could possibly have life much easier, and yet they persist. Worse still, we, as responsible adults, constantly strive to accede to their bellyaching!
I pity these people for their futures. They are going to be so pathetic and querulous that they'll struggle to even breathe in and out without assistance, or without fear of the noise it makes.
I thought it couldn't get any more pathetic when I heard that they have help lines for children who are stressed at taking school exams, but once again, I underestimated just how pathetic our children now are. The answer is not to constantly soften or remove all the obstacles that worry these childen, as without them, they fail to learn vital life-lessons. The answer, as far as I'm concerned, is to toughen up the children, whether that be through boxing, martial arts, or some other self-defence.
