Hi, to all,

I am new here so please be nice. I am hoping to meet some really great people and make lots of new friends. Anyone interested in chatting . . . I'm here and ready to chat. I am very outgoing and have an awesome, if sometimes warped sense of humor. I love rock music and even play the drums (a little). I go to concerts w/my two teenagers, who are really great kids by the way -- very respectful and also fun loving. For more info, please check my profile, I'm kinda new at this.         I am American, but of Irish descent. I have been tracing my family roots for about 8 yrs and actually had a breakthrough of sorts while in Ireland 2 years ago.

        As far as what I know. . . that could be scary. . .

          Welcome, lass. Another Irish-Yank here. Here's my one piece of advice about genealogy in Ireland: get official documents. Notarized if possible. Don't take just anyone's word for it. When you're buying drinks, EVERYONE knows your grandfather....
