Prodrive Aston Martin V8 Vantage

Prodrive may be more commonly associated with the Subaru World Rally team but they are also associated with Aston Martin through the Aston Martin GT Team.  They have now released a set of after-market upgrade packages for the baby V8 Vantage, increasing the peak power output to 425bhp.

The upgrades aren't cheap however, totaling £18752 for some exhaust tweaks, ECU remap, electronically adjustable suspension and a new set of wheels.  Whilst the Prodrive name does carry a lot of weight, and I've no doubt the changes make a huge difference to the car, I can't help thinking that this work could be replicated to similar or identical standards for less than half the price...
