Liverpool booked their place in their seventh European Cup final in Athens (May 23rd 2007) with victory over Chelsea in the semi-finals of the Champions League.  They will meet AC Milan again - who could forget the 2005 final..... Liverpool winning on penalties, after coming back from 3 - 0 down at half time! What a fantastic match!

I did consider going to Athens - but was quickly put off when I seen the deals being offered.  Flying from Dublin to Athens, staying 1 night with match ticket over €2,500, before we even reached the finals, which quickly got hiked up a few more hundred once Liverpool qualified. 

I will enjoy the match from the comfort of my couch, a lot less expensive!!!

    Liverpool shall win again...and ill be in liverpool celebrating cos theres no way im payin €2500+ to go to athens lol

      Hiya Mark... my sister was asking me would I go to Liverpool to watch it... I can see its a good place to celebrate, but I think I'll stay in Dublin!

          Generally tend to watch matches in my local... but if u're in the city centre of town, I'd imagine it will be on in most pubs.

            tally...buskers is always good for liverpool matches...its where i would normally go if i was watching a match in town...but generally anywhere is good...they will all have big screens

            milly...tell me more about your sister and is she goin lol...when we got thru my mate rang and said he was goin to liverpool..his wife rang me a few minutes later sayin she was booking so i thought why not..
