Will the outraged left get behind this guy and support him? Facts and science....how unsettling it must be to see the hysteria addressed.
University of Washington climate scientist Mark Albright was dismissed on March 12 from his position as associate state climatologist, just weeks after exposing false claims of shrinking glaciers in the Cascade Mountains.
Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels (D) had asserted in a February 7 Seattle Times editorial, "the average snow pack in the Cascades has declined 50 percent since 1950 and will be cut in half again in 30 years if we don't start addressing the problems of climate change now."
Albright knew from his research that the Cascade Mountains snow pack had not declined anywhere near what Nickels asserted, and that the snow pack has actually been growing in recent years.

Personally I'm all in favour of any global initiative to reduce waste and make our modern lives as energy efficient as possible - particularly if it weens us off oil.
Would anyone please let me know what problems would be caused if "Global Warming" was found to be more hype than substance? That's a genuine question - not a sarcastic one!
I mean, no one is going to die because we reduced power station CO2 emissions are they?
I agree on limiting waste. How this plays with individuals consuming power that could keep an urban center running because of their importance is a bit hypocritical though, ya think? What need is there for a person to live in tens of thousands of square feet of heated and cooled space, all the while mentioning how bad the 'other guys' are? Leadership by example is the single most effective form of leadership IMO.
it would only be positive results if we were able to reduce our CO2 emissions
Hey you know AdGuy always gets the last word! ;)
