So if you've found yourself on my Woyano page, you're prolly asking... "Who is his guy? ...and that's a good question! I'm working on that everyday of my life. In small way I think we all are.
So let me tell you a but about myself, because you're obviously here, reading this to find out.
The basics. I've been working in IT (computers) for over 10+ years. I didn't start on that path, my real love in life is film, video and audio. Of course I like a lot of other things, but that's what consumes my lively hood among other things.
In terms of "IT" I've done quite a bit, I have done network engineering, obviously a ton of IT support, Windows Admin, and in the later parts of this career... I've been programming and doing a lot of architecture type stuff.
Okay... that's a high level low-down of my work stuff... it's much more comprehensive than that, but I won't bore you with the details... so life stuff... I like a lot of things... I do work on a handful of a/v projects... I make music videos (mostly anime music videos; not as a profession as a hobby; and I've won awards and so on). I subtitle Japanese (live action) music videos for large audiences (ranging in the thousands) for some large conventions... (with 3-day attendance in the thousands also)... and last of worth mentioning... I produce a weekly podcast (www.otakugeneration.net) with my friends... with a lot of listeners and downloads (well into the thousands).
So I do a lot of these side video and audio projects, and they're all pretty successful, and I'm glad they are and that I get a chance to work on them consistantly. I also have been asked and actively participate on panels on the above subjects (mainly video editing, podcasting, j-music, etc)... so if you have questions on any of those topics, I'll be glad to answer if at all possible. Please don't hesitate to ask.
Other interests... music, films, sci-fi, anime, podcasts... in my job, I'm very technical.. in life not so much. I'm a professional G33K, but in life, I'm not. I have all the standard geek interests, but if you know me, you know I'm not very geeky but I have geek interests.
So there you go. A little about me...
