Hey There,

We've decided to celebrate the 4th July here at my company as we work with America and Canada quite closely and I'm just looking for ideas as to what might be fun - We're also going to run a quiz so if anyone has any quirky unusual questions about the US and Canada - please send em this way :o)

 Cheers,

Why did the USA have to win independence from the UK

:( we would be a progressive nation like Canada or the UK with universal healthcare and better social programs

    :(

How about a day that starts with a naked 5k bike race/hot dog eating/beer chugging contest followed by a shopathon at the nearest mega-mall and ends with a contest to see how long one can hold on to lit M-80 fireworks before they go off? The last sober person with fingers wins.

What could be more American than that?

Haha, but seriously... The 4th is great fun. Essential supplies: BBQ hot dogs and hamburgers, potato salad, corn on the cob, ice cold drinks, red and white checked tablecloths, tiny American flags, fireworks show, sparkler fireworks at night (the stick ones you hold in your hand), anything with stars and stripes, patriotic music (example, Ray Charles singing America the Beautiful), anything that resembles a backyard or beach party, tiki torches, etc.

Quiz questions? I bet you could find tons of these on the net!
