Hmm I am sitting here a little puzzled, what is with everyone wanting to become everyone elses friend all of a sudden?

Has the been a mass mailing of cyber exstasy and everyone is now having a having a huge love in and stroke the cuddly animals session?

Stop it!!!  the huge communal hugs and lovies are getting a bit sickening.

I am armed with sharp and spiky things and a bad attitude, leave me alone!!

Thank you.

I've noticed "the rush" ... it seems that 90 percent of the "news" when I sign in simply that X is now friends with Y. Oh goodie gumdrops, I'm pleased for both of you, but, like, I should care? Hmmm, vadagh, just maybe "how kudos works" has something to do with it _ do yuh think?

          Naaaaw, I'm not REALLY this grumpy *s* ... when we're friends, you'll understand *g*

That's actually important feedback for the Woyano Team, vadagh. Are people generally uninterested in knowing who's adding who as a friend? If so, let the Team know! A major benefit of the site is that it is a place to meet people and make friends. But is notifying everyone that X is now friends with Y going a little overboard? What do others think.

Well, if all of your friends' news shows up on that friends' news page, the more friends you have, and the more friends they have, those announcements kind of grow exponentially, don't they?

I'm just so thrilled to see everyone playing so nicely together...

              ;-)

One of the things that I gained from going to Glastonbury is an amazing memory that I shall carry with me forever. On both occasions, I was moved - yes moved - by the fact that 150,000 people gathered together, all being nice to each other could actually happen.

One of the things I like about woyano is that (generally) everyone is nice to each other - even if they have opposing views about things. I'm not really concerned either way whether I know that X is now friends with Y, but it's nice to see. So I'd vote to keep it.

I would have one comment - if the list of' X is now friends with Y' is large, and it's a day since I last logged in, there seems to be no way to scroll back through the messages beyond the last few - those that fit on a page. Consequently, I often miss additions to threads to which I've contributed - and I like to note if threads to which I've posted have received subsequent posts.

I have to admit that having the friends news is nice. I know I am guilty of extending the claws on occasion, and think that some good news is a good thing. I usually don't go to the friends news page. So if it bugs you, just skip it.

Echoing snak about missing stuff when the "friends with friends" list is large. Maybe the listing could be separated _ or, optional?

I just thought it was a bit excessive, if x shakes y's weenie or j hugs k . Not really relevant if you want to discuss some of the subjects around. I have missed a few posts and subjects I was interested in due to the group lovin's going on.Maybe a seperate page for the hug sessions would be better so that the main topics being discussed can be veiwed more easily.

How about an account setting to turn it on/off?
