In this clip from a documentary, four qi gong practitioners at an alternative medicine hospital in China fully heal an inoperable tumor in less than a minute. The student, not patient, also engages in daily meditations and activities at the hospital to become receptive to the teachers energies before such a procedure. Sounds nuts, but sounds better than chemotherapy.

Is it true that our beliefs can influence our biology? Dr. Bruce Lipton has done some amazing research into this field, comparing the similarities of the cell to human to society to computers. Obviously these guys don't get a lot of attention in the mainstream media, if people knew that their beliefs determine their genes rather than their genes completely determining them, what would happen to the immensely profitable pharmaceutical industry, which has a cure for each one of your "faulty" genes?

How our cells are information computers
http://www.brucelipton.com/article/insight-into-cellular-consciousness

The cell membrane is the consciousness of the cell, their abilities are directly limited by their surface area, the best way to organize two-dimensional membrane surface area into a three-dimensional cell space is to employ fractal geometry. Nature maximizes fractals (in plants, lungs, pinecones, brains, pretty much everything)

I agree that they contribute but they might very well be the very factor in determining gene expression. Placebo effect is no longer simply an effect in this framework, it is the way in which things are run!

I find it as a more responsible existential approach to life. Your beliefs have determined your existence; in this case, they changed the underlying beliefs that created their cancer, which is what I usually see in people who have fought and beat cancer (although usually not so rapidly!)

Personally I believe this is possible - but I am not saying that I believe this video is true - I'm just saying that anything is possible.

One things for sure, on Woyano we have the full spectrum of belief systems represented :)

I believe there are phenomenon beyond our current understanding. However, in a case like this where a "miracle" is allegedly performed, it should at least be possible to measure that something has happened -- even if we can't explain it. Has anyone ever scientifically documented a case of healing like this?

again, id need to see concrete proof and evidence to believe in these types of "miracles"

theres one miracle that i have seen since ive been alive and that is my beautiful niece *S* i think my sis giving birth was a miracle, and i see the evidence all the time lol

(im not so keen on religion but i am spiritual)

The first two links are substantiated articles on the benefits of Qi Gong towards cancer. The last has links to scientific studies done on the benefits of Qi Gong (a good one is "Review of Qigong Therapy for Cancer Treatment"). All studies have shown that Qi Gong as more effective in healing cancer than any traditional Western treatment. It also doesn't cause the list of 20+ chemotherapy side effects, which often will hurt a patient's psyche more than the cancer itself.

I don't think these are miracles, only proof of the power of the human mind when put into extreme situations. No mainstream media is going to touch on this under-reported cure, treating a cancer patient can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars - people have to start telling other people who can then make their own educated decision, rather than having it made for them.

This ABC report covers the story of Janet Cheadle, who was found to have neuroblastoma cancer. Her parents tried to enter her into an alternative healthcare facility; the FDA wouldn't allow it and tried to force her into an insurance covered chemotherapy treatment. After this ABC interview, the FDA backed down. She has now fought and beat cancer, but you don't hear about her battle on the news.
