Just a quick note to say that anyone needing to invest in a backup sollution Symantec do not provide technical support for BackUp exec FOC. Nope thats right every time you fail to get their software to do what it is designed to and you are presented with an error message only paralled in its informative nature by a certain microsoft OS you will need to cough up £50 to get a tech support chap to answer your questions.

Something to consider when making your choise.

Awesome! Symantec suk eggz. For antivirus I highly recommend Avast! Home Edition (it's free if you register on their site).

I agree - have recently deleted my Symantec (Norton anti-virus) half-way through sub year, after two painful years - constant notifications of expired subscriptions within 3 or 4 months of paying for 12 month subs/causing probs with other stuff on my laptop whilst sorting it out(their email Help said could not detect fault)/and eventually slowing down my on-line operation to almost a standstill. Now also have Avast - cheap, fast, effective. And my laptop is back to fast speeds again!
