   Happy Canada Day elvenmistress - you seem to be enjoying yourself! Never been there but my father was taught to fly in Alberta in 1942 by a Canadian ex-crop duster - who was as instructor to Commonwealth airmen during WWII. Way to go! Raising my (real glass of wine) to Canadians one and all!

   we dont have an Ireland day here...our day for going out drinking is call Pay day...then there is St Patricks day when tourists come and drink with us

   I live in Montreal and on June 24th was the Saint Jean Bapthist, wich is kind of "Quebec Day" It was a great day with city wide parties and festivities- all great fun.
   Yesterday was Canada Day and I didn't see or hear anything relevant to Canada Day. I actually saw a Canadian Flag hung upside down. I think it's a shame most people from Quebec hate the rest of Canada and want to seperate the province from the rest of the country. (If you didn't know, Quebec wants to become an independant country)
