Course that is my personal opinion *S*  I finally got to hear Bloc Party live from London and I was thrilled.  Other great performances from Londons Live Earth were: Red Hot Chillis, Foo Fighters, Duran Duran, Beastie Boys, Madonna, Keane, Kasabian and tonight I am going to try and catch The Police playing Live from NY.

Anyone else catch the performances?  I know Shakira played in Hamburg and I dig her music.  I missed Smashing Pumpkins at the NYC Live Earth, anyone catch that performance?

Anyways - it was good and I hope it raised awareness about recycling, conserving and not wasting so much.

Heres pictures from the event with the exception of bloc partys pic - for some reason i couldnt get a picture of bloc party from yesterday.

I sure hope it will raise more awareness too!
I watched some of it, however I managed to fall asleep and see now when I read your post that I missed Foo Fighters :(
However, I did see Metallica, and it warmed an old metal-heart to hear the old tunes, also, I had to change my mind a bit about Linkin Park, never thought much of them, but the dude in the brown shirt, he sure could sing and the music was quite ok. It was fun to see Spinal Tap, Roger Waters sure brought back memories, RHCP is always good and Beastie Boys always makes me smile. There were a group called something like AIF, anyone know more about them? I managed to miss some of their songs but they raised an interest.

i just watched The Police, what a timeless band, its like it is still 1984 and they are playing Live Aid.

            Amazing.

Still, I think my favorite was of course Bloc Party - but thats because they are my favorite band lol
