It does sound good, I hope it is! I didn't see the episode with Bruce Campbell, I must get the DVDs and watch them all the way through...

But the real news is the return of BBC Cult, great site; they took it down but now it's back (but only for IE, they're working on the one for Firefox).

The bbc is mysterious! The cult page says it won't be updated but it has up-todate stuff and links to more, and it's added 24 to its list. (I can't see 24 as cult like Buffy and Angel and the X-Files, still... .)

I used to watch X-Files regularly... now I catch a lot of the reruns.

Does anyone else think Gillian Anderson is freakin' gorgeous? Wow. I have total chick appreciation for her.

Also used to watch a lot of x-files. I think most of the episodes I saw were re-runs. Got started a little late I guess. :-) I'll definitely watch the movie. She's pretty fine -- though I don't often drool over stars. Too untouchable. I prefer "real" women. *S*

Now that I think about it, there is a little bit of a resemblance between the two of you. *G*

Georgie, you must have cable TV or top-up Freeview (or Sky), I only have Freeview and I am really reluctant to pay for top-up just to watch the X-Files re-runs :) -- but I may just do that. Or as my broadband connection is so dreadful I may switch to Virgin Media and add the TV.

Do I sense the next Woyano gathering coming on? Advanced notice: Anyone who wants to come with me for Gillian Anderson Appreciation Day to see the new X-Files flick when it's released, get in touch some time in the next 12-18 months. And David Duchovny is pretty good too. *L*

Yes -- it's great she and Duchovny are starring, the X-Files lost a certain something when he left :)

I'm not a huge fan of X-Files, but enjoyed the first two series. BTW Gillian Anderson was absolutely brilliant in the BBC production of Bleak House in December 2005. Did anyone see it?

Gillian was great in the Last King of Scotland. I didn't see her in Bleak House but I'll be sure to look into it... she's awesome in everything she does.

My sister and i were at a sydney mall back when the xfiles were just starting out and to get a picture of her looking at us i yelled "gillian i think my baby might be yours!" .
She looked and we got a great pic . too bad about the rumours after that , not that she was pregnant , just that a sydney man was.

I am glad that Anderson and Duchovny are both back on board but it would be nice to see both Robert Patrick & Annabeth Gish again if even for cameos - They were never going to be a Mulder & Scully but their dynamic as Doggett & Reyes was quite cool.
