Back in May, a friend of mine from Ireland was supposed to tour the United States and stop by Cleveland on his way to Arizona to visit me and another friend of ours. A couple weeks before he was to come he didn't return calls or emails to our mutual friend and I.
We thought since he had just started dating a lovely gal that perhaps he had decided to skip going to the USA for a while. But we were both wondering why he just fell out of touch, since he had bought a plane ticket and was really looking forward to coming to the USA for the first time, for a visit.
Well today I found out that he was actually in a car accident in May, two of his friends were with him and they both died. My friend ended up in a coma, and has just recently come out of it.
Im so thankful he is okay.

*S* apparently he said when he awoke that he wasnt a girl and didnt need flowers, but he did ask for someone to get him grapes lol
i feel badly for not knowing what happened to him, he has been in intensive care, and he lost two of his friends - all this time i just thought he changed his mind about vacationing to the usa n left it at that
im lucky - once my friends and i were hit by a drunk driver - i came out with minor scratches - my friend mark was seated next to me - he had to have surgery after his head was busted open - but everyone survived - thank god
