Eco Car - 0 to 60mph on a Potato?

How about this - not just bio-fuel, but tyres made from potatoes, bodywork from hemp, brakes from other plant fibres... AND it still goes from 0 to 60 in four seconds! Top speed in excess of 140 mph.

Developed originally by a student project at Warwick University (UK) - the creators say that, " eco one is a demonstration of how sustainable design can help create a racing car with a conscience, with no compromises and no loss in performance."

    Nice! And all I built when I was young was a go-cart make from a steel hide-a-bed frame and a 2-hp lawnmower engine. I'm jealous! :-)
