By the way, smartttnam, what do the three Ts in your name represent? The Holy Trinity? And is smar--nam an anagram of "mars man"? In other words, are you pointing us toward the divine truth in Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus?
LOL@so do puppies
hahahahaha
this one loves watermelon, so watch out cdin lol
Ireland has always been a neutral country(unless aggravated by invasion)
The small Irish army works mostly on peace-keeping missions or emergency assistance in times of disaster.
Sorry to be a dry-shite, just clearing that up.
hard as that may be for people to believe. Most human beings think that placing children
under such doctrine is just flat out insane, unfounded, corrupt to name a few.
I think that doing so would in fact do the exact opposite of what your thinking of.
Yes lets put our children into the army. Really we want to create more minds in our world
like the likes of hitler himself. Many serial killers happened because of a lack of
substance in their home lives at a young age so what in the hell do you think would
happen if you slapped a whack of kiddies in the military? You have a warped veiw. Sure
some people do not like kids or want them thats cool but would the majority say
hey the army would fix those kids right up no time flat and put and end to the happy
giggles! I think not the most are tolerant to them and other religeous cultures as well.
Not every muslim/islamic person is a terrorist or a threat in fact many people are a
threat for many reasons in this life sorry terrorism isn't the half of it. Its a fact that
every terrorist started out as a child...hmmmm...........gee who ever could have guessed that?
Well theres one to wrap your mind around: A human being starts out as a child....Also..
god is supposed to be "our" father yes? Then why would we want our childeren to fear
him? I sure the sh*t didn't fear mine growing up. Also if I am not mistaken isn't 17 the
age for the Irish army? And 18-22 years of age for military service in chinese governing?
Yeah ummmm its kinda not the the age of gangas kahn anymore honey the hun army
has in fact not invaded for quite some time as I am sure the chinese can testify to.
Your annoyance of wee children is fine but you can take your pathetic veiws fold them
up nice and neat and tuck them up your rectum.......best place for no one else is
enamoured by them.
Whilst individual children may be a pain in the posterior, it should be impossible for anyone to dislike all children - anyone normal anyway.I have no problem with people not wanting children of their own (although this does go against our biological programming - why is sex pleasureable?). In fact this may be a good thing - there are far too many of us already.
I would also agree that some people should not be allowed to have children at all, but there's no way to ensure this - we are all (mostly) human and therefore possess the need to procreate.
But to dislike ALL children on principle is madness. Without children there is no future.
Unfortunately, most of the time, it turns out to be the village idiot.
sooooooooooooooooooooooo far from it
at first i was having a hardtime figuring out if he was for real or just teasing - but ive come to the conclusion he or she is all about having a laugh at the expense of the right wing *L*
LOL
What unpatriotic about wanting troops home alive, all those that says otherwise are daft. And didn't the phrase pinko commie go out like 80s fashion, when the cold war ended. or are we in a time warp with richard o brian again

hear hear!
didn't the phrase pinko commie go out like 80s fashion,
I thought so...
Hillary IS a socialist and ONLY out for herself- which contradicts anything she tries to stand for- so however unlikely it will be to have her as president- she would definitly make hypocracy a national past time and earning and keeping income for a hard days work a laughing matter.
LMFAO
But I have my doubts about Hillary (which are nothing to do with her being a woman).
looks like she is ahead.
*L*
I fear that Harper is no better than Bush or Blair, in fact those three amigo's are just loving their playtime together. I would love to see Hilary take the presidency, even thought I am not from the States. I think that it would be great for your nation, and she is more than able to deal with the preconceived notions other nations may have in respect to women in power.
In fact, Canada and the US are some of the few countries that have not had a female political leader (aside from our Governor Generals, many of which have been female). All of Europe, Most of Africa, and many parts of Asia have had very powerful Queens through out their entire impressive histories. Cleopatra was one of the most powerful women of all time, as was Elizabeth the First, and Catherine the Great, thought a little off, are just a few.
Perhaps it is just the immaturity (that is youth) of our nations that is holding us back from recognizing the true potential of women and their ability to lead. Many major corporations have women at the helm, and in positions of power. Women think differently than men, but is that such a bad thing. Perhaps a new perspective is just what our nations need.
As far as children go, some people are just not meant to be parents. Not everyone loves children, or has the ability to deal with them. Though I do agree that children can be very loud, that is part of being a child. Being loud, energetic, imaginative, and pushing the limits is part of childhood. Children need structure, but the thought process of "children should be seen and not heard" is archaic in my opinion.
I work with children, and until I met Chris, had no desire for my own. I would be around children for the 4ish hours I had them as my responsibility, and that would be plenty of time for me. I would enjoy them, but would also enjoy returning them to their parents. Chris awakened some of the maternal instincts in me, but now that he is gone, so have the feelings. I don't think it is wrong to dislike children, not everyone is cut out for handling their needs.
However, there are very wrong ways to treat children, and they are not stupid. Knowing they are disliked is very hurtful to them, and as an adult, we should be able to deal with them in a positive manor regardless of our personal feelings. Children need structure, but they also need compassion, guidance, and love. There is never an excuse for mistreating a child. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, likes and dislikes, but there still needs to be a fundamental respect for life. They may not be contributing to society in the same way as an adult, but they are still people and therefore valuable human beings.
Don't take these child haters/eaters seriously, though. I think they just like being grumpy. I'd like to think that none of them would actually harm a child. (Just don't let 'em near mine, OK? :-)
Hear hear, Moosetracks.
Knowing (s)he is disliked by individual adults can be hurtful if the child likes and respects the adult in question, or of absolutely no consequence if the child has no respect for the adult. Knowing (s)he is disliked by his or her parents (either or both) can be devastating, generating serious problems into his/her own adult life.
I know people who fit into both of these categories. When a friend split with his wife within about 6 weeks she moved in a guy that his younger son detested. The fact that he didn't like the adult concerned ensured that he really didn't give a hoot whether the guy liked him or not. At the opposite end of the scale, I know someone who was mistreated by her parents throughout her pre-teens, through her teens and into her twenties. When she finally escaped them she took up with a guy who beat her for several years. When I first met this lovely person and she told me of this abuse I was both sickened and angry at some of the details and very upset at some of the things her parents and others did. Like a lot of people in t
