Fiery end, fairy fly

The fires of the forest
sweep the sky,
they glint and gleam
a dragons eye.

His fires roar,
His fires fly...

Ill-fated creature
midst flits of flames,
it runs, it leaps
in terror'd vain.

With winged soar,
His flamed eye...

Cocktailed breath he breathed in,
exhales ignited burning sin
a fiery end, a fiery din
then harked the rising fairy kin;

Breathe thy last of demon breath,
on my brethren, to the wind...

A rising swarm, an army of lore
battled there, a gigantic foe,
ten thousand thrusts of tiny swords
did blind him first and then did gore.

The fires burned and then they died,
the fairies live, the forest thrived.

Very cool! Thanks for sharing that with us.

Is this really about dragons and fairies, or is there something else metaphorically going on here?

Just popping in for a quick look-see. I'm glad you both enjoyed. But this isn't a vanity post. I welcome anyone who has any form of expression they are willing to share to post a piece of their own. Drawings/poetry/prose/songs etc whatever. There will be no censorship or judging done by me.

"The more you judge, the less you love"(de Balzac). Its just about sharing a piece of your life or some particular experience...

I will copy and past each into different categories and you can come and view your fellow wayano members offerings.

All forms of expressions at all levels are welcome and encouraged.

Thanks prettyfly, I'm glad you enjoyed.

jbravo. I suppose it could be interpreted in a few different ways. I do like to leave things open to different meanings. And any apocalyptic, environmental or spiritual interpretations would be valid. But it is also just a poem in the simplest sense.
