My daughter is a filmaker UPDATE - She made the finals .. please vote we need your help !

SAM'S TEAM MADE THE FINALS PLEASE VOTE FOR NYC !!

Hi Everyone,

I would like to invite everybody to view and vote for a film my daughter made in NYC.

My daughter Samantha is 16 years old and is an aspiring film maker. She applied to be on a film crew for Samsung Fresh Films by way of writing an essay and submitting a film idea. Of the tens of thousands of applicant's she was chosen to be on the NYC film crew. 

Every summer Samsung puts teens in the directors chair by choosing 99 kids across the US to be on 1 of 9 film crews. They are then tasked with making a 10 minute film in one of three Genre's, thriller, drama or comedy. They are then shown on the internet by category and voted on. The winner of each genre then goes up against the other catergories for overall winner. The winner is then invited to go to California for a film premier. The winning film is also going to be premiered at several film festivals across the country.

Samantha's NYC team was chosent to do a comedy. It is coming out on the web at www.fresh-films.com on August 9th and will be up for voting until the 15th.

All of you out there that know me and those that don't I am begging for your support. PLEASE GO VOTE on her film.

Samantha is a bright vibrant  outgoing teen. In a world where people cringe when discussing teenagers she is one that any mother would die to have. She is a junior in high school and plays in the school band. I am proud to have her as a daughter and that is why I am asking all of you to help out a great lovely wonderful spirit.
