What really caught my eye in this article was not the lawsuit, but the evidence that people are taking their virtual worlds very seriously. Just imagine when virtual reality becomes very realistic and immersive. I believe Kurzweil when he says that "We Will Spend Most of Our Time in Virtual Reality in the Twenty-first Century"

Deep in that linked report there is this: "In recognition of the growing legal issues "Second Life" is likely to generate, the country of Portugal recently set up an arbitration center in the virtual world, though it has no power to enforce its decisions."
Here's a whole real NATION taking virtual reality seriously!!
But, what an uncommon perspective, to think of _ recognize _ that a phone call is a virtualization of a real event (is virtualization a word?) Have never realized that till now. Lordy! We spend much of our lives in virtual reality masquerading as merely a reflection of reality. I once knew a guy who took a tiny portable radio and earbud with him to football games so he could get all the extras via the radio broadcast that he wasn't getting by actually being at the game. Reality wasn't enough.
I guess, technically, radio and TV are other forms of virtual reality -- as are all computer interactions, including Woyano.
Hey you know AdGuy always gets the last word! ;)
