Let's get to grips with the real criminals, who are they, here is my abridged list.
1. one person in a motor vehicle 2. Ordinary families going on vacation more than once in the year by plane. 3. A person found breaking re-cycling law 4. Old ladies carrying bottles of water onto aircraft 5. Criticism of Islamic extremists [on racial grounds] 6. Dislike of same sex marriages 7. Liking President Bush.
Now for my list of the innocent ones.
1. Thugs and vandals [a strain on police resources] 2. Animal rights extremists 3. Muslim women wishing to board planes and refusing to remove their veils at security 4. Drug takers especially if they are film stars or pop artists 5. Osama bin Laden 6. Palestinian suicide bombers 7. President Bush haters.
Now that should make the world a better place, or maybe not.

As for polluting, sure! We are polluting big time. Maybe global warming is coming about. Maybe it will be really hot in some places, weather will change, and millions in low lying regions will die. Who knows for sure? Maybe polar caps are melting. If so, then there will be some changes around the world, no doubt. Maybe nothing will happen, and everything will turn back to normal. Icecaps will freeze nicely, warm ocean flows up the Atlantic, etc. etc.
As for the polar bear, if they were all gone, would it make much difference? To you? To anyone? Some people would be very sad. But, extinction is a thing of life/death. Who here would perish if they couldn't see a polar bear for golly sake? But, with no pandas, life would end as we know it. Those two-toned fur fantastics are too cute. Or something or other! Why? Do you know? Some people would rather just use them for target practice! What fun! Bam bada bing!
Anyway, I'm glad they (the cute furry critters) would be all gone. Maybe we just don't deserve to have the beautiful and wonderful animals around any more. Maybe we will just have cockroaches, ants, slugs, worms, rats, crows, seagulls, vermin, hyenas, spiders, flies, scraggly possums, hagfishes, tapeworms, lice, bedbugs, genital mites, and other scum sucking bottom dwellers such as there are, along with a bunch of prickly weeds all about. We could all spray roundup everywhere and grow an extra head or two.
Can you imagine? Having a pet genital mite? Or a hairless chihuahua/chupacabra? How about a genetically modified human/goat/spider/antelope/appletree?Now that would be a kick!!

How could I not take you seriously? You write so well, you raise good points, ask great questions, and obviously are a dedicated student who cares and wants to learn. You are terrific!
Of course, we may agree to disagree, but i have come to believe it's way more fun to be able to accept and honor others as they are and as they believe, rather than stress and hate... although hating can be very energizing... temporarily... ack...
Truly tho, I find stressing, having anger and contempt for others to be such an annoyance at (all) times! Call me silly, but happiness and delight are much more a preference. In this little crazy world of ours, it's finally dawning on me that we don't have forever, that moments of joy and kindness are the best, and for some unknown reason, doing good, being good, choosing good, works so much better.
Of course, for funners, i can't wait to order Bioshock... yahooey! Oh, and what about that heavy weapons guy? too fun! yeah, and, i wanted to get a top line nvidia card just for the new Renaissance demo. WoW.
We are humans, and I think we will maybe always have that warrior component. It is sooo jazzing to storm troop, conquer, go everywhere, do almost anything we want. I am soooo glad we live in the digital age where we can expend lovely war energies online rather than hurt our neighbors.
uh oh... talk about preechy... Someday, you will see me on Cable TV, great poofy hair, Southern accent, perfect teeth, ingenuous smile, hands and face upturned asking you for tons of money, spewing forth great gobs of righteous mumby jumby. Not! : )
