..Is for Burma's key supporter-China to pull away the support, and it will only do so if it feels it's international reputation is at stake , particularly before the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Why hasn't the world already made China feel so?

      Well, that's my point, it should be about time countries must be held accountable...if that's not possible ( since we know it isn't) then we need to hit 'em where it hurts...the beijing olympics! china should realise that they can't get away with such support in the eyes of the international community. when chinas reputation as a manufacturing hud was compromised after the recent matell recall, the chinese panicked...imagine manufacturers turning to thailand or india...their govt immediately issued statements saying it wasn't the chinese that were at fault, but matell itself. my point being, they care very much about trade and tourism the world should use these trumps better to get china to behave responsibly qua human rights in the international arena.
