I don't know if any of you have kept track on the trial of Qwest CEO Joe Naccio but Qwest was the only phone company to deny NSA requests for phone records and access.  Now their primary CEO has been accused of insider trading and he tells us that this request was made within weeks of Bush entering office. "If Qwest’s competitors were already abetting this bloodless coup before 9/11, then the “administration’s” domestic spying not only has little if anything to do with response to terrorism, but it also objectively failed to prevent 9/11."

    wow. I hope to gosh he gets free from all of this. He's so very brave... such courage. So many would just comply, not caring about anything.

    I am afraid that he will lose. It's a losing battle! I think!

      Yeah it's not looking too good. The fact is that he expected these government contracts to increase Qwest's share value but when he realized what they were asking for he refused. Now he may be legally fucked. :/ The US Department of Justice and The Department of Homeland Security are just words, words that often have little relation to what they actually do...
