I absolutely adore the character of Hannibal Lecter. In all of the films I think that he shows many qualities that everyone would love to posses (minus cannibalism..don't think I could go there..) in their darker mind-set. I loved that Harris brought out another addition with Hannibal Rising.  It was awsome to read and see how he became an intense, intelligent killer revered the world over in literature/film. Hannibal was cool awsome and yes (I don't care how old the dude is Anthony hopkins is seductive) sexy in the first three films Silence of the lambs, Hannibal and Red Dragon but they really iced the cake by placing Gaspard Ulliel as the evolving, calculating and ever so gorgeous young Hannibal Lecter. I think they made a clever match to the older character of Hannibal with Gaspard. I would absolutely die if Thomas Harris borught out another addition where we could see how he selected and why he selected some of his victims when he ventured into a career in pyscology.

I would like to add this lyric in tribute:

Ladies and gentlemen please
Would you bring your attention to me?
For a feast for your eyes to see
An explosion of catastrophe

Like nothing you've ever seen before
Watch closely as I open this door
Your jaws will be on the floor
After this you'll be begging for more

Welcome to the show.........
Please come inside.....
Ladies and gentlemen!

Do you want it?

Do you need it?

Let me hear it!

Ladies and gentlemen!
