There are loans, and mortgages and credit cards and over drafts. Is it the way to go? Or should we all be thrifty savers?

What happened to save to buy what you want instead or borrow for what you want? Maybe we're better off now playing with other people's money. Maybe we're not.

Comments very welcome.

The best example of a Government actually taking proactive measure to rectify what you speak of is President Zarkosys Government. The French lifestyle was all supported by the government on borrowed money and he plans to change that with new economic policy. The only reason I refer to this example is because change, today, contrary to Gandhian principles like," Be the change you want to see", I believe is effected from the EYE at the top of the pyramid down. A macro to micro. So if we see the current administration in France succeed and the people accept it and the success infiltrate French and European political consciousness. This will be reported by the media as a great achievement and maybe we"ll possibly see new systems emerge ( ok maybe not new systems that fast...of all the addictions idealism is probably one the harder to kick..LoL)
