These talks from the T(echnology) E(ntertainment) D(esign) convention are some of the most interesting lectures I've ever watched. There's over 150 of them on YouTube and their website to watch for free. Each lecture is from 5-30 minutes long on all sorts of interesting topics.

If any of you are teachers, I think kids should be using this as an educational tool - have them pick a few videos and write a report about them.   Even if some ideas are a little over their heads they'll definitely find something they like, and I'm sure it will throw around a few sparks.

Did you guys find any you really liked?  I've watched about 20 of them so far.  :)

    Thanks for sharing. I seldom attempt online videos because I'm still on dialup, but I downloaded a space-related TED presentation once and found it excellent.
