Hitler's victories early in the war

   
In the early part of the war it was difficult to make jokes about Hitler, his many victories gave the British people a rightful impression that he was a successful man of action.

However the Christian churches were soon to become involved in anti-German propaganda. The persecution of German clerics, and of churches throughout Europe. The practise of euthanasia and paganism, the perversion of child education were all attacked by the church.
