Ron Paul lays neoconservatives clean. McCain is their nominee. Mix a lil' bit of baby Bush with a lil' bit of Reagan and you've got him. Maybe throw in some Nixon.

I tend to agree with Ron Paul about Neo-conservativism in the USA and the extreme fascists who aren't really conservative at all.

Though I do agree with Ron Paul on many different issues, I also know Ron Paul was very much a Reagan supporter, and has been a "libertarian" Republican for much of his life. How can you be apart of a party that has supported neo-cons? I want to believe that Ron Paul is better than the Republican party.

And lastly, though I think Ron Paul makes some good points, I strongly disagree with getting rid of social programs that would help the poor and less fortunate. These are the people in this country that have been hurt the most under neo-con rule. Though many of the ideas libertarians have are conservative and follow closely to our constitution, I think some ideas would require radical changes and if these radical changes were allowed under the wrong leaders that could lead to even worse corruption, and possible dictatorship down the road.

I agree , there are some social programs that are of vital importance . I do support him in wanting to legalize marijuana . I also like his comments on the war in Iraq , especially about having dialogue with our enemies . I also think the Patriot Act is simply the worst piece of legislation of this generation . I registered Republican to vote for Dr Paul in the primaries and I will write him in come November . I feel there is no difference between Obama , Hillary , or McCain . Obama always points out that he did not vote for the war , but that was only because he was not in office yet . I looked at his voting record and it is amazing , 100 % of the time it is pro war . He voted for more funding in Iraq , an extension of the Patriot Act , and increased funding for Guatanamo . So did Hillary !! Unfortunately , there are no Democrats running ! Now I have to vote for Paul because he is closer to a liberal than either Obama or Hillary , who are just closet Conservatives .
