UP-UPDATE: July 9 2008

Am definitely feeling better, but it could also be due to major dietary
alterations to diet which includes large quantities of natural raw
organic Romaine and Apple Crush. ohmigosh - pimples are all
gone, skin glows, energetic, can't shut up! : )

I will have to give you the recipe since magnificent changes ensue
with this remarkable drink. oops - digressed...

You can certainly see the scientific validity of my research as to the
bluetooth question! (?!)

It is so hard to know for sure whether wave and frequency bombardment
has an impact on our thinking and health.  After all, we are energy - just
a number of atoms and quarks flitting and rotating and being waved
by ether-eal forces of unknown composition.

So, it stands to reason that all forces, interracting, colliding, affecting
each other, etc. would have some effect.

Subtly, perhaps... even our thoughts are chemical reactions and wave
/ frequency emanations...

Today's summary: maybe use the blue airtube headset or the
speakerphone if one has any concern.

And, most importantly, eat organic, super healthy natural raw
vegetables and fruits so that one is strong enuff to resist any negatory
effects from all the electronic chatter and other stressful strains of our
marvelous modern world!!!

YET ANOTHER UPDATE June 29 2008

Finally disconnected and shut down all wireless at home.

(History: had noticed when I was out and about felt better, but
when returned home, would feel poorly. This was happening
repeatedly.) Tried a number of things, nothing worked, finally
thought to turn off bluetooth, etc. since had headachy dizzy
things going on.

Results of wireless shut down: actually feel better. Now, yes...
they have wireless everywhere -- neighbors, Starbucks, etc.
So, theoretically, one should feel poorly almost everywhere if
sensitive to wireless.

However, it may be that the Macbook Pro has a very powerful
signal/receiver, augmenting, whatever.

My Toshiba laptop didn't pose the same dizzying problems.

(An aside:  love this Macbook Pro running as an XP Windows
machine. - Keyboard is perfecto and screen in mighty bright -
even too some times. Even tho doesn't have the new LED
backlit screen. Perhaps that one would be even better.)

Right - love of Macbook Pro has Nothing to Do with Bluetooth
Health Problem.

Summary: So now have no bluetooth, wireless Internet, 2.4 ghz
anything.

However, still have cell phones on. seems to be okay....

Will monitor... maybe this is just a cdin thing. However, if other
people are noticing things, perhaps this post will help. ?! : )

ANOTHER UPDATE Jun 25: My 2.4GHz mouse was still
on in drawer - forgot to turn off before putting away. So, it
was happily radiating away. Shut it down - oh of course I
feel better. It's all in the mind, right?  Will keep you posted.

Still haven't shut down wifi - so convenient.

UPDATE JUNE 24th 2008:  BLUETOOTH NOT A CULPRIT

Even after adding a wired mouse and virtually eliminating
bluetooth, haven't noticed substantial improvement.

Therefore, conclusions are that bluetooth is not a culprit.

Next experiment: switch to wired ethernet.

Note: Microwave puts out 800-1000Watts, radar puts out
10-100KW but a wifi base station only uses 0.1W.
Wifi-Radiation emissions are minimal.

Nuff said! : )

Ever since I got my new laptop (Mackbook Pro with Leopard,
Bootcamp, XP, very nice even tho it's a Mac (sorry, Mac!) ,
I noticed having headachy probs and other discomfort.

When I moved away or went outside, I felt better.

Today, I turned off my bluetooth transmitter/receiver in
"Network Settings." I had heard that low level EMFs were
as problematic as higher levels.

Interestingly, I feel better working at my laptop. Could be
psychosomatic... whatever, I'm over bluetooth.

Also, I am hugely reducing my cellphone usage. I will use
speakerphone if at all possible. I do have an "airtube"
headset, somewhere....

Boss sent out this letter:

"Dear Associates,

Our company is cutting back cellphone usage. We
will be communicating more and more through email
and text messaging which we will check periodically
and often, throughout the day.

Why? Evidently, cell phones may be increasingly
damaging to health. There are statistical increased
levels of head cancers and other side effects coupled
with increased wireless phone usage.

Our own limited research has verified these troubling
statistics.

This is a heavily debated subject. However, several
prominent brain surgeons have recently expressed
deep concerns and publicly cut their own wireless
phone usage.

We are also eliminating bluetooth use. We have
turned off our computer bluetooth connections.
If you wish to do the same, your bluetooth settings
are in "Network Settings."

We have no verified information at this time whether
bluetooth low level emissions are harmful. We simply
chose to turn off our receivers/transmitters.

You can purchase a cellphone headset with an
"airtube." We recommend Googling for sets in your
area. Note: Regular "wired" headsets have been
said to increase EMF radiation when held at certain
angles.

Below is a link to airtube headsets. We have no
connection with the company. We merely found them
by quick Googling. They sell the airtube for $18 or so.

We have no knowledge whether "pendants" or "chips"
are of any benefit - your call. Let us know if you have
any verifiable scientific evidence.

Again, in case you're wondering, we are NOT resellers nor affiliates
of the above link. We have no knowledge about their specific product
nor its efficacy. If you find other information, good sources at good
pricing, let us know and we will pass the info on.

We have no verified information :

    We have no knowledge :

Those are the only two pieces of information which hold any power in the above. Unless of course, the letter title was titled "Scaremongering".

      Oh absolutely, I hear you.

Scaremongering is quite a business - can you imagine
the money it makes for some? Buy this and that to be
      safe, etc. Trillions spent.

Anyway... I am glad there's a bit of scaremongering
out there. Some of it has been accurate, while,
admittedly, alot of it is bunky.

Oh, to be perfect, wish we all were!

i use a bluetooth motorola s9 with my blackberry when im driving and i talk on my cellphone a lot. like microwaves, cellphones (and bluetooths) emit waves. because these products (bluetooths) are fairly new i dont think theres enough evidence that will tell us what the longterm effects of using it will be. that being said, there definetly needs to be more research done so that we get all the information about these products.

cdin - i can totally understand your concern.

Yes, exactly - it's all so... up in the air. haha! One thing for sure -
it's here to stay, most probably! People will keep using wifi etc.
until lots of folks start keeling over.

Perhaps there's a certain amount of "acceptable" side effects
like death, cancer, mental fog, or the like. Not everyone is
susceptible - perhaps most people will be fine.

Oh - maybe you are a candidate for the air tube thingy since
        you are on phone alot!
