What a shambles the EU is rapidly becoming, they spend money with complete disregard, many EU members of parliament flagrantly fiddle their expenses.

But now the are even trying to ignore or bypass their own rules. The situation is this, the Irish people have voted against the Lisbon Treaty, to become law it has to be approved by all members of the EU, this has not happened, so therefore the treaty is dead.

Any trust that the public within the EU have for this organisation, is rapidly diminishing, any attempt to push this treaty through by subterfuge, might well bring about a collapse of the whole union.
