Day 6, and we’re given a science lesson: “How To Write Effective AdsMike informs us that many home business owners end up wasting so much money because they never learn how to write effective ads – instead they buy expensive, ‘over-used’ leads from companies who usually haven’t got your real target market in their sights.I guess we all start off with the best intentions and enthusiasm when first placing our ads:***************************************Home-Based Internet Business OpportunityNew Business with Great ProductsGet In On The Ground Floor Before It’s Too Late!***************************************So, our ad gets us 3 phone calls from ‘leads’ who are cash-poor and seeking a job opportunity. Mike then declares that he places ads in the same way, but those ads return hundreds or thousands of leads, where the opt-in rate for his capture page can be as high as 60%!How does he do that? Can we have some of that? We most certainly can!However, we need to understand that generating effective ads IS an actual science, whereupon you utilize ‘influential triggers’ which people are genetically programmed to respond to at some subconscious level. Mike says that “they simply can’t help it”. We’re programmed to acquire pleasure and avoid pain. Yes, we’re back to that one again!Speaking of the subconscious level, Mike reminds us that we are genetically programmed to notice and respond to the pain of other people when we see negative headlines in newspapers and magazines.Our survival instinct means we identify with the pain, so that we can avoid it in future.Positive headlines work in the same way, except that we acquire pleasure from seeing those:“Revealed! How You Can Retire Rich Within 3 Years!”But there’s more … if we want to get massive results, Mike says that there are several layers of psychology that we can incorporate into our advertising and sales presentations.“Social Proof” is one such trigger – we determine what is correct by finding out what other people think is correct. We have to demonstrate that the majority of others use/like/personally recommend our product or service, via 3rd party credibility, such as testimonials.Magnetic Sponsoring – The Solution To Your Problems?I believe! – I agree with Mike in that once you’ve learned the concepts behind Magnetic Sponsoring, you reach a point where you can almost refuse to pitch networkers on your opportunity! Seems odd I know, but I can see where he’s coming from on that one. We don’t need to play the “mine is better than yours” game like everyone else.Can you imagine having to turn potential distributors away, simply because you won’t have the time to work with everyone?
