Scots in a rage

   
Jeremy Paxman the well known BBC Newsnight presenter, has upset many Scots because of his opinion regarding the revered Scottish poet Robert Burns, Paxman is reported to have said  "I find the Scottish poet no more than a king of sentimental doggerel [verse that lacks any poetic quality] "

One sometimes wonders whether the Scots have a sense of humour, and if not then at least a streak of tolerence. The English seem to have these qualities, how else could they tolerate being governed by the Scottish Mafia for so many years..
