It is pathetic that this right wing government would ignore the people devastated by the mortgage meltdown, what its done to the middle class but then bail out the gabillion dollar corporations/banks that were behind the lies n fraud.

    I just found out about that. Our govt nationalised Northern Rock but Fannie and Freddie are a hell of a lot bigger. Our economy is likely to be in more trouble than yours but your sub-prime lending was a lot worse, was downright criminal. Here too the bosses are getting off free and with bonuses...
