I deleted a comment I posted as a reply to a post here, not realising a comment by cdin would be deleted too.  I am really sorry. Perhaps the software should be changed so that can't happen?

I thought I'd deleted one comment of mine but when I clicked, two of mine went and cdin's went too. I don't know whether it's a bug or I was simply careless, I'd never used 'delete comment' before. They should set it so a poster can delete any comment and a commenter can only delete their own...

aww.. did the little lady get upset at my reply because it exposes her hypocritical nature, and so had to delete, not just me, but my wife, for fear that, if i were to repost ...

"i think that, no matter that i have no knowledge of the subject re : presidential debate, i think it is hugely hypocritical of you to be suggesting that McCain referring to Obama as "that one" is wrong, while you continue to use such petty school yard name changes like calling McCain "McSame", and, far worse, call republicans "republitards", which is using retardation, a mental disability, as an insult, which 99% of people will find utterly repugnant!

Delete this comment all you like, i will just repost it. It will merely serve to demonstrate to others the kind of attitudes that exist in the world today"

... it might in turn make people notice with disgust what it is she is portraying herself as. Poor poor soul!

This is my post, Alastair, so your bravado's unnecessary. I'll reply here as I did when you posted it before.

i think it is hugely hypocritical of you to be suggesting that McCain referring to Obama as "that one" is wrong, while you continue to use such petty school yard name changes like calling McCain "McSame",

There's a difference between using an insult on a web forum (or in a pub, etc.) and insulting a fellow speaker in a public debate. That difference means there is no hypocrisy at all in what LBP said.

            call republicans "republitards",

as I said before, I too dislike '(re)tard'.

Bravado? There was none. Simply statements. Am glad you to choose to repost your reply.

Incidentally, the name is "Alistair"... look.. it says so already on the post above yours!

re : opinions on "republitards" whoo hoo.. we agree on something! lol

I did get removed from bloc party's friends list, without an explanation or a reason.

No doubt she has a reason for it, I'd like to hear it...especially because I think she removed ME because she's upset with my husband....dont see why I should be included in the 'removing of friends' thing. Bit childish...
