Well, tried to post a video and blurb about a very rough subject
that really needs telling...
Interesting Barriers
only to be met with obstacle after obstacle - a true comedy of
errors. Any time any thing is this difficult, shouldn't do??
html didn't work, links disappeared, back and forward buttons
lost content, video embed didn't work at all with msnbc iframe
etc. Mysteries!
The subject matter is so detestable that perhaps the 'fates
that be' just want to make it almost impossible to deal with.
But here are links: (Let's see if this final effort works!)
Oh - the story of a beautiful and brave Florida teen who was
abducted through a highschool friend's "Dad" and sold for
$300,000 on Internet...
Point: Funding help is not available for abducted American
kids... only imported kids. If there ever WAS a reason
to fund ANYTHING - this should be IT...

This is terrible.

and -- I see -- they can be arrested and charged with prostitution! Here prostitution is not illegal so it would not happen.

I didn't really understand that, here (where we are not that great about trafficking, you are better in some ways) she would have been helped.
For quite some time I had no idea this type of thing was going on in our backyards right here in the usa.
I also posted about this subject some time ago because I saw a movie that was made in order to inform people about human trafficking. Part of the problem the way I see it is that as far as I can see the government doesnt go after the johns enough.
Im one of those that believes like the Swedish believe, that only the johns and the traffickers can be prosecuted when it comes to prostitution. They do not re-victimize the women by criminalizing them, but rather they treat sex explotation as a social evil.
We have got to protect our young women and children from predators.
Hey you know AdGuy always gets the last word! ;)
