To all members: Woyano Kudos News

Some of you may have noticed some changes with Woyano's kudos system over the last few days.  This is due to us tweaking the algorithm that calculates your kudos and rolling out a new system of "levels".

Some of you may have taken a drop in kudos and some may have been boosted.  We're sorry for any turbulance you may have experienced!  I know how it feels because I myself lost hundreds!!



* Kudos Levels:

We have implemented a set of levels, the first few of which are relatively easy to attain after actively participating at Woyano for a short time.  Gradually the levels become harder and harder to go up, requiring more kudos each time.  Anyone who is familiar with a role-playing game will recognise this way of doing things immediately!


See how quickly you can reach the giddy heights of the upper levels of Woyano Kudos!!


* New Algorithm:

One of factors affecting your kudos within Woyano is how highly (or not!) your content is rated.  Previously we were seeing kudos levels swinging too strongly up and down according to your content rating so we hope to have stabilized that effect.



Remember there are many factors that affect your kudos to varying degrees, such as how your content is rated by the community and how active you are as a member of Woyano. 

To put it simply, the best way to increase your kudos is simply to add lots of quality content!  And that also happens to be the best way to earn advertising revenue from it too - so get posting!
