Ginger is a minority hair colour. It is usually accompanied by pale, freckly skin.

Minority hair colour? Depends where you are: I don't think so in Scotland, Ireland, Bondi Beach... ( in latter case skin is lobster coloured unless hidden under factor 30 sun cream). And wassername the super-model is making her fortune from her pale skin and ginger (red) hair. In the past, pale skin was prized as the attribute of the leisured classes who could afford to relax in the shade and tanned skin denoted the peasant worker who laboured in the sun. Ginger hair is therefore the outward sign of the upper ( ruling) class gene. ( Ask Prince Harry.)

my sis has strawberry blonde hair and I remember as little kids she always had people staring at her hair and getting so many compliments. red hair is gorgeous. infact, recently i decided to go darker (i had light brown hair with blonde highlights). now i have brown hair with bright red highlights, and i love it.

      ginger is beautiful!

I know, I know! I'm just winding up my brother, Alex, who is one of Woyano's computer bods and is distinctly red-haired. (Though not nearly as much as when he was a little boy - ah bless. Now, there's a thought for sharing content...)

Always always always had a thing for redheaded girls. My brother is also (or was when he was younger) ginger. In our family every 2nd child is a redhead. The 'ginger gene' is actually recessive and so ought to eventally die out. Blame the vikings for spreading their genes so far and wide.....
