Setting up a community

I noticed the Honda community and wondered how exactly it worked. What is the best way to set up a community in Wayano?

My idea is for a forum that allows people to post practical things that they have done to make their lives more sustainable. For example, someone may have installed low energy light bulbs and wanted to list the pros and cons, where to buy them, the costs and savings and any hints and tips. Others can then comment with their own experiences or questions. Someone else might post about a hybrid car they bought, and so on.

The important thing is to have all of these posts listed together somewhere so that people visiting this community don't have to wade through a whole lot of unrelated content to find each entry. The only way I could manage this with the Honda community was to do an internal search on Honda.

Am I missing something or can this be designed better? I assume this involves creating a new form of Community Username so that all content can be viewed all in one place under the community's My Wayano. Individual users would be able to post under their own names (therefore maintaining their own revenue and kudos) but have the option to post under that particular community's name as well. This is how communities work at www.livejournal.com, if you want to check it out.

What you describe is exactly what we are planning on rolling out soon. We will be having communities which you can create and then have people join and contribute as you see fit.

Please be patient as we are making a lot of changes to Woyano and we do take all these suggestions in to account!

Haha, good timing. Don't worry, I'm patient. I just wondered if there was something I hadn't figured out. Thanks for letting me know! Looking forward to it.
